Chinese businesses are eager to expand into international markets, according to the trade council.
In the first quarter of this year, China’s national trade promotion system issued 2,954 ATA Carnets, a 73.66 percent increase compared to last year. ATA Carnets cover temporary import-export activities and saw a total value of 806 million yuan, a 117.25 percent rise year on year.
This growth reflects Chinese companies’ interest in global markets through activities like overseas exhibitions and business exchanges, as stated by Zhao Ping, CCPIT‘s spokesperson.
The data also revealed a 17.38 percent increase in the issuance of certificates, totaling 1.55 million, including ATA Carnets and Certificates of Origin.
